Trump’s Trump Card: He Really Venerates Women

I fell out of my chair when I heard Donald Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury in a case that stems from payments Trump made in 2016 to his former attorney, Michael Cohen, to cover up an alleged affair with an adult film star known as Stormy Daniels. The jury obviously did not understand the innocent motives behind those payments and Trump’s totally above-board reasons for making them, which I shall now explain.

Donald Trump loves women, and I don’t mean in an objectifying sort of way. Trump has a history of helping women to be all that they can be. When he married his first wife, Ivana, a Czech-American immigrant who was down on her luck, he placed her in top positions in his companies and after she succeeded in her work, gave her worldwide publicity through a media-frenzied breakup. His search for other women to help, while still being married to Ivana, led him to hook up with and marry Marla Maples, an actress, model, and singer who needed a lift. Trump provided her that lift, as is evidenced by a 1990 New York Post headline that read, “Marla Boasts to Her Pals About Donald: ‘BEST SEX I EVER HAD.’”

Continuing his altruistic efforts on behalf of women, Trump signed a prenup with Marla that said he would pay her one million dollars if they divorced within five years. True to his word, he paid her that sum when they split within this time frame.

Some have said Marla was shafted by agreeing to sign such a stingy prenup. But after the marriage was over, to meet some expenses, she was able to sell her engagement ring, which must have fetched a pretty penny. Wife number three, Melania, is a Slovenian-American émigré that Donald has remained faithful to a good deal of the time.

Stormy Daniels, who Trump bequeathed $130,000, is just one of many women Trump has helped financially. Another is Playboy model Karen McDougal, who Trump paid $150,000 even though she claimed to have had an affair with him, a charge he has denied—he has also denied having had an affair with Daniels. Trump’s great benevolence in giving bushelfuls of money to these ladies was due to the respect and reverence he has for the gentler sex.  Other than Betty Friedan and Gloria Steinem, no one has done more for women than Trump.

Trump’s vilifiers say he paid “hush-money” to Daniels. It wasn’t hush-money, it was “much money” paid by a parishioner in the holy church of female deification. This worshipper of women was clearly not looking for credit when he helped Stormy bulk up her bank balance, which is why Trump entrusted his close advisor Michael Cohen to write her a check. Trump wanted to anonymously reward Daniels and, by extension, all the women in the world for the tremendous amount of good they do in helping men to strive to be better people.

New York City DA, Alvin Bragg, who has brought this unmerited case against Trump, should take pause in his rush to judgement to convict a decent, honorable man and, if the 2020 election had not been stolen, the current president of the United States. He should consider that the evidence he presented to the grand jury was flawed and not fully explained to the jurors. Rather than being indicted, Trump should be feted for his philanthropic work in bettering and advancing the lot of womenfolk.

The law needs to be meted out responsibly and fairly, not unethically and capriciously. Do the right thing, Mr. Bragg (not the best name for a prosecutor) and allow justice to prevail. Dump the case against Trump!
