The Ten Commandments of the Electronic Age

By Martin H. Levinson

  1. I am the LORD thy Smartphone. Thou shalt have no other God besides tablets, computers, and me.
  2. Thou shalt not use 3D printers to make images of idle idols.
  3. Thou shalt not take the name of Apple, Google, or Microsoft in vain.
  4. Remember the Sabbath day and every other day of the week, to keep them holy and open for remote work.
  5. Honor thy WIFI and cellular connections.
  6. Thou shalt not kill or cancel though thou feel aggrieved.
  7. Thou shalt not commit adultery or act like an adult on Twitter, aka X.
  8. Thou shalt not steal from Chat GPT without being 100% certain you won’t get caught.
  9. Thou shalt not bear false witness or retweet fake news, LOL 😃.
  10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s followers, which could have been yours if you were as social-media savvy as your neighbor.
