Show BioHide BioWebsiteDerek is a NYC based writer, director, choreographer, performer and arts educator originally from Rochester, N.Y. He recently completed the MSc Playwriting program at the University of Edinburgh where he was awarded the William Hunter Sharpe Memorial Scholarship for playwriting. His plays include The Exhibit, In Good Conscience, Waist Deep, Til Death, Peace and Quiet, and his original rock musical Pie Eater was a Next Link selection for the NYMF 2016. Derek is also a long standing company member of 3-time Drama Desk nominated theatre company Parallel Exit.
