For God so loved the world, and love means never having to say you’re sorry.

You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and with great power comes great responsibility.

Jesus made the disciples get into the boat, and one of them said, You’re gonna need a bigger boat.

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free, but you can’t handle the truth.

The LORD says:  Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.  Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.

Do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners, and nobody puts Baby in a corner.

You will do well to pay attention to the prophetic message, as to a light shining in a dark place, but pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.  I have always depended on the kindness of strangers.

The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves.  Warriors, come out and play.

For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning.  I love the smell of napalm in the morning.

And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.  But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out.  Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.  Say hello to my little friend.

When you bring an offering to the LORD, bring as your offering an animal from either the herd or the flock, make him an offer he can’t refuse.

A certain ruler asked him, Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?  My mama always said life was like a box of chocolates.  You never know what you’re gonna get.

I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die, and you’ve got to ask yourself one question:  Do I feel lucky?  Well, do ya, punk?
