The Satirist is looking for a Submissions Editor.
The Submissions Editor’s role is to read submissions, help select the best pieces for publication, and copy-edit pieces for publication.
Ideally, the Submissions Editor would also contribute some high quality satirical pieces.
This is an opportunity to gain experience in the editing and publishing process of The Satirist. The Satirist has nothing approaching the massive audience of The Onion, but does enjoy a reputation for high quality satire.

Your letter of interest could include:
- A piece of satire written by yourself.
- A few paragraphs on your favorite articles on The Satirist (and why).
- A description of any relevant education or experience you have as a writer, editor, copy-editor, etc.
- Your preference for which categories you would most enjoy editing (News satire, general satire, poetry, essay format, film reviews, etc.).
